In this project, I combined traditional Sichuan style into the humane characteristic of the modern city to transform the restaurant with a comfortable, cozy and refreshing dining place. The management and staff of the restaurant and the diners gave high comments on the renovation.Design for Chang'an Sub-branch of China Construction Bank, Beijing We were in charge of the design of the office tower, business hall, reception hall, deposit hall, staff activity center, and the exterior surface of the tower totally covering 2,500 square meters and with a budget of US$1,050,000. In order to reflect the solid strength of this financial institution, I put a unique style into the design reflecting the overall features of Construction Bank. It received the compliment from other peers.We also took on the design project of Fuxinglu office, Changan Sub-branch, China Construction Bank covering an area of 900 square meters. The budget of the project was US$200,000. My design emphasized solemnization and modern styles of the property.Design for Elevator Area and Lobby of Pan Lee Tower Pan Lee Tower is a modern office tower funded and operated by a Singaporean company. The design was simple, clear, natural, and contemporary.In 1999Design for Sunshine Decoration Company, Union Plaza Design for Sample apartment of Innofta High Tech Co. Ltd. Our task included a two-story apartment with an area of approximately 372 square meters, a single-story apartment of 186 square meters, and a set of office rooms of 186 square meters. The style of two-story apartment design was elegant and luxury, with exquisite colors; the single-story apartment is bright and cozy, with light and elegant colors; and the office is simple and natural, suitable for business use. The samples become very popular among the viewers.International Garden Club With an area of 800 square meters, our design covered reception hall, business center, dining hall, coffee lounge, chess & card room, health center, sauna room, beauty salon, and mini-supermarket. Being luxurious and elegant, the design was in harmony with the status of its VIP members.Beijing Office of Kingsford Investment Consultants Co., Ltd. In order to reflect the company's strength and image, the office was designed to be cordial and amicable to customers. Ltd., where I participated in the design of quite a number of local small-size offices and shopping centers. Working at CID for 9 years, I had gathered rich experience and made substantial contributions to the company, especially to the improvement of its design capability.I had participated in or supervised the following projects:08/1988 –12/1989Office Decoration Design for Zhengzhou International Tower with an area of approximately 1,000 square meters. It was the first project I took charge of. Partial Design of Beijing Guiyou Supermarket. Sichuan Restaurant of Xiyuan Hotel with an area of approximately 5,000 square meters. In this project, I took the position of chief architect for the first time and chose a typically traditional Sichuan style for the design. 1990 – 1991I worked on large-scale designs independently in these two years and greatly improved my professional abilities.The office of the general manager of Capital Mansion (Approximately 1,500 square meters and US$300,000). Together with architects from Hong Kong, I finished the project with high quality and the project evoked great repercussions in Beijing. Capital Mansion Decoration Project In this project, I acted as the chief architect and the leader of design group for the design of 4th-floor conference room, 9th-floor office space, and public lobbies along elevators with Approximately 16,000 square meters (Decoration budget US$2,000,000). It's the first large-scale design project finished independently by myself.Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurant of Jingxin Mansion (Approximately 1,000 square meters and decoration budget US$250,000). For the first time, I integrated traditional Chinese style into design, which duly reflected the feature of Chinese culture and the restaurant’s own taste. Jingxin Hotel (Approximately 5,000 square meters). In 1992Coffee Lounge of Capital Mansion (1,500 square meters, decoration budget US$375,000). Coffee Lounge, Jingxin Mansion (500 square meters, decoration budget US$125,000). Different Design for Beijing Offices of Some Foreign Enterprises in Capital Mansion. In 1993China Yantai International Communication Centers (3,288 square meters of area and US$1,400,000 of decoration budget). It includes a huge simultaneous interpretation (SI) hall, small-size conference rooms, large ballrooms, health centers, cards & chess rooms, billiard rooms, and an indoor golf court. It was the toughest design project I have ever taken independently since my graduation. Due to the tight construction schedule, I stayed at the site making design day and night and finished the giant SI hall within only 56 days. The design was highly praised by the local government The Science and Technology Center, Yantai Economic Development Zone, Shandong Province (1,800 square meters of area and US$420,000 of decoration budget). Athletic Center of Capital Club (4,000 square meters and US$1,400,000). In 1994The Shopping Center of Jinglun Mansion, Beijing (Approximately 7,000 square meters) This is my first design for a large-scale department store, which was highly praised by commercial circles of Beijing. . Redesign of Capital Club (Approx. 1,500 square meters) Together with chief architects of C. C. Club Group of USA, we substantially redesigned the interior of the club. The uniqueness of the club is that it is the first domestic member of a club network with more than 300 clubs in the world. The prestigious, elegant, and luxury atmosphere of the club and its special traditional Chinese features attracted a lot of local or foreign celebrities to join the club.Kaixing Italian Fashion Shop of China World Tower (Approximately 150 square meters) Offices of CITIC Interior Decoration & Engineering Company (CID) (530 square meters of area). As the manager of design and operation department of CID, I took charge of the design work. The design had contemporary and stylish feature. In 1995I took part in the business negotiation, design and management of the decoration construction of public areas of 2nd – 14th floor, Section B, CEROIL Plaza, Beijing. It comprised of the elevator chamber, washrooms, corridors, and reception Hall with an area of 10,000 square meters. It was a teamwork product by our company and a Hong Kong company. The plaza ranked one of the most modern office towers in China.In 1996Parts of the Shopping Center, Section C, CEROIL Plaza (1,000 square meters). Interior design of the Offices of Foster Wheeler Energy, China (750 square meters of area and US$175,000 of decoration budget). Office Design of US Terring Air-conditioning Company, Korean Sightseeing Co. Ltd, etc. In 1997Redecoration design of Baxianju Hotel of Penglai, Shandong ProvinceThis project included high-grade villas, restaurants, multi-functional halls, chess & cards rooms, and coffee lounge amounting to 2,000 square meters with a budget of US$475,000.
